The WA Performance School has just completed its third consecutive season cheering for the Perth Lynx Basketball League. Proudly showing off their uniforms sponsored by HealthWays Go for 2&5 Message, the girls danced at the majority of all Home Games at Perry Lakes Stadium and entertained the crowd with their original flare!!
Well done and Congratulations to the Perth Lynx and our very own Go for 2&5 dancers!! We look forward to another exciting season ahead in October 2008!!

East Fremantle Football Club (WAAFL)
This year, The WA Performance School has been invited to cheer at each home game for the prestigious East Fremantle Sharks, WAAFL. The team dancers who are now named the 'Sharkettes' are proudly sponsored by Edinger Real Estate and sport their new colours of Royal Blue and White! The first home game will be at the East Fremantle Oval on March 29th at 2.15pm so come down and help cheer on the Sharks and our 'Sharkettes'!!

Performance Troupe
The school’s intermediate and senior performance groups represent the school at competitions and various functions throughout the year. Students audition or are invited into the group, however, participation in the performance groups is not necessarily restricted to the best dancers. Students who display willingness to improve, teamwork and great dedication are also welcome to be part of the groups.

Performances & Events
WAPS students have recently performed live on stage and television at events such as these:
• Channel Seven Telethon & Christmas Pageant
• State and National Basketball Games
• Corporate Functions
• Local and Charity Events
• Shopping Centre Shows
• Annual School Concert
• Eisteddfods, Exams and Competitions

Annual Concert
The school’s annual concert is held at the end of each year and all students are encouraged to participate. The concert is a wonderful way for students to gain performance experience, and for families and friends to celebrate their development.

Costumes
The manufacture of all costumes are organised by the school and costs are always kept to a minimum. Plus there is no costume making for parents.
