WAPS Concert Hub

Dance in America is something that I believe you just have to experience to get a real appreciation for this art. By getting to be a part of the tour, it truly opened my eyes to just what I can be capable of, even if I am of a non traditional age to be dancing and learning new skills. It helped me form new dreams, and to me, that alone makes the whole experience so worth it.

Big thank you for a gorgeous night! Fabulous Christmas to you all, thank you for making Chanelle’s year so special she has had a wonderful first year at WAPS.

I hope you have recovered after Saturday! What a spectacular evening! I just wanted to send a quick note to say what an amazing effort you all put in to produce a concert of such high standard. And all the kids did such an amazing job and all seem to just love it. On behalf of Sophia, I wanted to say a big thank you to you personally for the year too. She loves her Acro classes.

I want to say that your teachers are fantastic. Not only are they great at the choreography, dance technique and conveying across to the class how the movement is to look and feel but they are also beautiful people who really actually care about their students – I love their classes – I have so much fun in them and am looking forward to returning back to class hopefully term 1 next year.

Dear Stella and team, Just a short note to say how incredibly impressed I was with today’s Junior concert. No doubt the logistics required to produce such a seamless event would have been huge from sourcing the costumes, ensuring each child was dressed and ready on time, the tight routines, communicating expectations to parents, coordinating the rehearsals etc etc. I commend you and your staff for such a professional and enjoyable production. No doubt the senior concert was a success too. My daughter only joined her tap class mid way through term 4 yet from day one she was made to feel at ease and encouraged to perform in the concert despite an obvious lack of experience. Her teacher Sarah was so gorgeous in making her immediately feel like she was an important and special part of the class. Anyway, congratulations again and hopefully now you can all relax in time for Christmas. See you next year!

Just wanted to send you a big big thank you for all your help in coordinating Shelley’s hens night on Saturday! Everyone had a fabulous evening. Claire was amazing! Dear WAPS Staff, Organisers, and parent helpers, Thank you for your amazing efforts in organising and managing such an entertaining and rewarding Junior Concert. It was a wonderful confidence-building exercise and it was heart-warming to see that the junior performers enjoyed themselves on stage, too. As a parent, I am sincerely grateful for how well you looked after the children backstage and it was charming to watch the teachers leading the younger ones on stage, especially the patient and graceful Miss Sarah (whom my daughter Zahra adores). We hope to enrol Zahra for the Friday afternoon Tiny Ballerinas class next year, so I’ll be getting onto it soon. Best wishes for a merry season and here’s to a gorgeous year ahead!

I have been very impressed and happy that she’s settled in and really loving it. She really likes you and your teaching as well so thanks for being so enthusiastic and attentive, she’s very comfortable with you.

My daughter always enjoys the drama class and comes home with big smiles every Tuesday. Thank you and the teachers for the teaching, encouragement and great opportunities. I can’t wait to see the performance in December.

Oscar, his friends and all the parents had the most amazing time, and it was all because of how great the Urban Grooves party was run! There were smiles for days in our household, rewatching videos of the dances they created and the games they all played! Kids birthday parties are stressful. Honestly yourself and WAPS not only made this the most memorable birthday party Oscar has ever had but by far the most enjoyable for everyone, siblings, friends, parents and of course the birthday boy!!

I have nothing but positive comments! WAPS has an amazing vibe and classes were fun and I always left feeling happy and accomplished! I used to get very shy about the thought of attending dance classes but WAPS was such a judgement free zone it made me feel comfy and able to enjoy myself!
